Join my Fight for Air! Nobody should struggle to breathe. That is why I am climbing 1,197 stairs in the 2010 Fight For Air Climb.

As you may know my son Robb suffered from asthma all his life. He died in October 2009. In his memory I am going to climb the 1197 steps.

As the oldest grandchild on both sides of the family, he was the source of much pride and concern. He was always wheezing and fighting for air. Why? Today his son, Robert Daniel has asthma. He is struggling to breathe more than a 5 year old should.

I will also be climbing for Bubba and all children with asthma. The good people where I work have dedicated their efforts for the CLIMB in Rob’s memory. My whole family is touched by their love and support. Now is the time for us to do our part. I am going to climb the 1197 steps. Please sup-port me with your good thoughts and prayers and with your financial contribu-tion. I need a dollar a step.

While most of us cannot donate $1197, how about $119.70 or $11.97 or $1.97? Any amount will be appreciated. As I train to climb, I remember Robb and the “buddy, buddy” walks we use to take. When I get tired and struggle to get enough air, I realize this is how he spent a great deal of this life struggling. While nothing will bring Robb back to the family, I hope that money the CLIMB brings in will mean less people struggle to breathe.

Please either join me and register for the climb or make a generous donation to the American Lung Association to support our FIGHT FOR AIR. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!

PS - 4 generations of our family will be at the CLIMB. Robb's grandma will be leading us as we cheer all the CLIMBERS on
